Abstract
Bacterial meningitis are conditions caused by several etiologic agents, and they cause concern due to the potential to leave sequelae or even lead to death. After the advent of mass vaccination for the most frequent agents, such as Neisseria meningitidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophylus influenza type B, staphylococcus has taken a prominent position (Davis 6). This report illustrates an unusual case of bacterial meningitis caused by Staphylococus warneri, a coagulase-negative staphylococcus, as well as its therapeutic approach and clinical outcome.
